Wir hatten die kleinste Zimmerkategorie als Doppelzimmer gebucht. Somit waren wir nicht überrascht, dass der Raum entsprechend eng war, was in HK ja nicht außergewöhnlich ist. Da wir aber nur zum Schlafen im Hotel waren, war das völlig ok. Frühstück war nicht außergewöhnlich, aber gut (kontinental und asiatisch). Man konnte entscheiden, ob das Zimmer gereinigt werden soll oder nicht. Personal, insbesondere beim Frühstück, war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Fitnessraum wurde von uns nicht genutzt. Es gibt Wasserspender auf mehreren Etagen. Ist nicht mehr das modernste Hotel, aber wir würden es wieder buchen.

The hotel is located at the quieter, northern end of Discovery Bay, which immediately sets a different tone compared to the bustling parts of Hong Kong. If your objective is to step away from the intensity of the city and enjoy a more nature-oriented, tranquil environment, this location works very well. The room itself was quiet and comfortable;well aligned with expectations for a restful stay. The peaceful surroundings contributed significantly to the overall experience. Service-wise, the personnel were friendly and welcoming, creating a positive first impression and maintaining a professional atmosphere throughout the stay. One important consideration is the dining infrastructure in the area. The nearby North Plaza offers only a limited number of dining options, and these tend to close relatively early;even on a Friday evening. The main plaza in Discovery Bay provides more variety, but restaurants there also typically close around 21:00. This requires some planning, especially if you arrive later in the evening. In summary: • Strong choice for relaxation, nature, and distance from the city • Quiet, comfortable rooms supporting quality rest • Friendly and professional staff • Limited dining options with early closing times;requires planning A good option for a short, calm getaway less suited if you are looking for vibrant nightlife or late dining
