Sehr schönes Hotel - EMPFEHLUNG!

In general the sugar bay barbados is nice. The location at the beach is really nice as well as the location in general. In front of the resort are some stones which lead to a quiet sea for taking a carribean like bath. We needed to change our room as our first room had a really strong smell of mould and ants were in our bed. Then we got a complex which was more renovated and it was fine for us, even tough no highlight. We didn't have hot water in the shower but it was warm enough to take a shower. We liked the complementary 10 minutes massage and the cocktails as well as the service on the beach. We did not like that in the area of the resort were a lot of mosquitos. Overall there were pro and cons. But two things we really did not like: 1) There are so many birds in the eating area, they need to hire a person who is just responsible to scare away them, so that they don't walk on the prepared forks and knives. 2) There is a lot of really nice staff, but there is also staff which is really really rude. Mainly the person on the reception are not that kind. During checkin they didn't provide us with any information regarding restaurants or similar and if you asked for them they were really annoyed and even rolled their eyes. One lady (short hair and glasses) was the worst one, we always tried to avoid her, when she was on the reception. The worse thing about it is, that she was one of the duty managers. Why is she working in service in this position?

The furniture was worn out, the bed only squeaked when moved, the patio furniture was dirty, and some of the outdoor cushions were dirty and torn. No adapters for charging with European plugs. Room service was poor and inattentive. Tiles were missing in the pool. Also no parasol on the terrace to protect yourself from the sun. Kitchen appliances were very worn and partly broken. Some of the kitchen cabinets didn't close properly or were worn out.

schöne anlage. zimmer 3 Sterne.wen Espresso und wein geld kostet, das ist kein all-inclusive.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, aber schönes Zimmer mit tollem Meerblick. Schöner Strand. Etwas abgelegen mit wenigen Restaurants in Laufnähe.
