Koh Kret: Tauchurlaub

Ein ganz besonderes, bezauberndes Hotel mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail mitten in Bangkok. Die Zimmer laden auch wirklich zum Wohlfühlen ein. Tolle Sessel zum Beispiel - und sogar ein Pyjama auf dem Bett bereitgelegt ! Oben auch ein sehr schöner Rooftop Pool mit mega bequemen Liegen ! Für die „Kleinen“ gibt es auch eine sehr gemütlich aussehende PlayStation Spielabteilung. Personal war überragend! Eine klare Empfehlung für dieses Hotel !

Das Hotel ist realistisch neu und sehr gut gelegen. (BTS Station zu Fuß in weniger als 10 Minuten erreichbar). Die Zimmer waren recht groß, modern und sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Habe mich aufgrund der guten Rezessionen für das Hotel entschieden, würde es jedoch nicht nochmal machen. Es gibt deutlich bessere Hotels für den Preis. Aber zuerst positives: die Lage ist sicher, das Frühstück war gut und Personal nett. Allerdings hat mich einiges gestört: das Zimmer war extrem hellhörig, sodass ich die Nachbarn habe duschen und reden hören, als wären sie direkt im Raum. Bin entsprechend viel wach gewesen nachts. Das Personal bittet einen beim Frühstück nach positiven Bewertungen in Bewertungsportalen, was ich als recht aufdringlich empfunden habe (daher wohl die guten Rezessionen). Im Bad gab es Schimmel und die Vorhänge, Fernbedienung, Kissen waren dreckig. Auch das blauweiße grelle Licht fand ich eher ungemütlich. Bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel erwarte ich etwas mehr.

We stayed at lebua for a week exploring Bangkok. The hotel is situated in a lively are with all amenities nearby. If you want to do public transportation there is a station nearby but we opted to use Grab the whole time. Our tower suite was on the 51st floor and very spacious. The kitchenette provided a nice touch with a coffee maker (Nespresso) and a standard size fridge with ice compartment/ freezer. Drinks in the fridge are complimentary and are refilled every day. Overall, the suite was well kept with the usual wear and tear. However, cigarette wholes in the decorative pillows can be avoided. One downside was that there are no chairs on the balcony. We thought we could hang out there and have a drink. Nope. In addition it is also quite loud as the air cons sit there. But you don’t hear them inside. The maids are very attentive! They even closed our safe one day as we had forgotten before we left the room. The took pictures of contents and we could reopen it with a new code received by the manager. Very much appreciated! Breakfast is buffet style and very good! So many options to choose from: Japanese, Indian, European, Thai, pastries, omelette station, juices, smoothies, fruit…. Yummy! Pool is nice and relaxing. Even big enough to swim a few laps. If you want good cocktails, don’t do the bars at the hotel. Yes, the views are nice but the cocktails and other drinks are overpriced. Do it once for the view, then go to the Red Rose Bar in China town for example.

Unser Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen, auch wenn das Hotel ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist. Es ist sehr gepflegt, das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Auch die Nähe zum One Bangkok und zur MRT sowie zur Bushaltestelle ist hervorzuheben.
