  • Casa Luna offers a flexible setup for families and groups looking for space, privacy, and an oceanfront home base in Akumal.

    The main house has two bedrooms on the ground floor and a spacious primary suite upstairs. The upper suite includes a King bed, private bathroom, full kitchen, large terrace, and ocean views.

    A separate garden casita above the enclosed garage provides another private living space with a King bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen, living and dining area, and large balcony.

    This arrangement works particularly well for multi-generational groups, couples traveling together, or guests who appreciate having separate spaces within the same property.

    Air conditioning is provided in the bedrooms only. The main living and dining areas are not air conditioned.

    LOCATION

    Casa Luna is set directly along the Caribbean coast in Akumal.

    The shoreline immediately in front of the villa is rocky and has no water access. Akumal Bay and Half Moon Bay beaches are approximately a five-minute walk away.

    Akumal's restaurants, beaches, snorkeling, and local attractions are nearby. Tulum, cenotes, eco-parks, Maya ruins, and other Riviera Maya destinations are also easy to explore by car.

    GOOD TO KNOW

    • AC is provided in the bedrooms only. The main living and dining areas are not air conditioned.
    • Two bedrooms are on the ground floor. The primary suite is upstairs.
    • The fourth bedroom is located in a separate casita above the garage and includes its own kitchen and living/dining area.
    • Housekeeping is provided Monday through Saturday.
    • Cook service is available for an additional fee and should be arranged in advance.
    • Golf carts and other services can be arranged with our guest service team.
    • No smoking is permitted inside the villa.

Our favorite place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We come back again and again to Casa Luna with our three adult children plus their friends and partners. Casa Luna is perfect for us. Roomy, with privacy, beautiful ocean views, fabulous management and staff. Plus, the 2nd floor terrace is the perfect setting for karaoke! I mean, tiered seating with the ocean as a backdrop?! The gardens are so peaceful and the house is immaculate thanks to Humberto and Rosa who are both wonderful people.

Nice house and great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is set up well with having everyone a bit spread out. This gives each are it's own privacy. We had 10 of us in there and it never felt crowded. Great location makes it easy to walk into Akumal beach, the restaurants, and of course my favorite beach bar La Buena Vida is very close. The pool was great and clean. Kitchen was well appointed. We had a private chef come over 2 different nights and they had everything they needed for some great meals. Only complaint was the amount of ants inside the house. Lots of little ants all over the kitchen and a bunch of bigger red ants in the bathroom attached to the bedroom off the kitchen. Bit of a pain but nothing that would ruin our stay, Beautiful views from the observation deck. I would stay here again.
