„We were so impressed with the rental….this is the best appointed rental I have ever encountered. We do travel frequently and have experience with rentals and never before has there been literally anything we might need provided! „It was my family's first time staying at Castaway and we can't wait to return! It's a beautiful and comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. Check-in was seamless. The owner, Todd checked in with us to make sure everything was ok and even left us some goodies to enjoy in the fridge. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds. Our kids especially loved the pool. "Wir waren 10 Tage zuvor in einem anderen, ähnlich bewerteten Hotel in Charlotte Amalie und erwarteten demzufolge eine ähnliche Erfahrung. Diese wurde überaus positiv übertroffen. Zimmer, Ausstattung, Anlage, Ambiente, Blick usw. können wir übereinstimmend nur sehr positiv bewerten. Einziger negativer Eindruck war das Restaurant, dessen Service und Qualität nicht mit den Preisen Schritt hielten. Vor allem, dass auf der Rechnung aus der Wahl von vier Optionen für den Tip schon die zweithöchste vorab ausgewählt war, hat gestört und war auch unangemessen. Sehr empfehlenswert ist dagegen der Besuch des Museums und des zugehörigen Shops. Das ist nicht nur von den Exponaten her wirklich interessant, auch der verantwortliche Manager für Museum und Shop ist kompetent, sehr freundlich und weiss wovon er spricht. Der Teil über das Restaurant ist hier zu lang geraten, um dem positiven Gesamteindruck zu entsprechen. Man kann schliesslich auch andernorts speisen. Die Pool-Bar dagegen ist einfach nur grossartig."
