« Great spot with an amazing view. It is a fairly long walk from the train station especially with luggage or littles. We thought the place lacked some basic amenities we typically see (e.g. there was a washer but no detergent. Some napkins, etc.). The space is lofted and the loft becomes very hot (32) even when it is not hot outside (22). There was a small fan tower that was not very effective at cooling it off and there was a window we couldn't open due to a large bee nest right outside. This...

« L'appartement est très bien. Toutefois deux bémols : - les consignes d'utilisation de l'appartement ne sont qu'en anglais, (ça n'a pas été un problème pour moi). Toutefois l'appartement pouvant intéresser des francophones, puisqu'il est référencé sur Abritel.fr, elles pourraient être en français. A noter que l'allemand et le français sont aussi 2 des 4 langues nationales Suisse. - Il serait souhaitable de vérifier les écoulements (vidange très lente) de l'évier de la cuisine et de la baignoire...

« What a fantastic 3 days at the penthouse Waterfall Condo. Five adults in our group and we had ample room. We wanted for nothing. The views were simply amazing and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Check in was a breeze parking for our van was great. The beds were all supper comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were even able to watch the Texas Aggie game on the TV at 2 in the morning. « We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lauterbrunnen and our stay at Chalet Edelweiss. We were able to walk to a wonderful restaurant for dinner and the bus stop was right outside our door which made getting to our day’s excursions very easy. The home had everything we needed and even though there was only one bathroom it worked well for our group of 4 women. I highly recommended Chalet Edelweiss if you are planning a holiday in or around Lauterbrunnen. »

« Lovely place with an INCREDIBLE view. Having a kitchen was very nice to make our own breakfast. The mattresses could use updating and made for some uncomfortable nights, but overall we enjoyed the property. As previous reviewers have stated it IS a not insignificant walk to/from the property from Wengen town center. « The apartment has everything one could need, although no coffee was provided and we didn't know to buy ahead. The beds were super comfortable and once the weather cleared, the views were spectacular. Proximity to excellent restaurants, even one with take out pizza when we were under the weather. There are 48 steps up to the apartment and it is on 2 levels, something I did not realize from the listing. Wenge is a compact village so grocery, bakery, and train station are all less than 10 minutes...
