Well looked after in sunny Bansko

Liz was a fantastic host - setting up the two apartments to suit our group of 12 friends and family. She accommodated all our food preferences and timings and worked hard to keep us all happy. Before our trip she answered all our questions. She provided local advice and gave us lifts to pick up our skis each day & to the thermal spa too. Location was perfect - only a short walk from lovely old town and the busy area with bars/restaurants.

A lovely week

Liz was very accommodating with a last minute change of beds, fussy kids and a vegan to cater for. The food was delicious, nutritious and varied. She went out of her way to offer a vegan starter, main and dessert every evening for my daughter. We didn't expect that and it was much appreciated. She asked us at the start of the week about any likes and dislikes and the kids put in their requests too. Fired chicken baked beans etc! The rooms were warm and comfortable and gave us our own privacy but enabled us to meet up for breakfast and the evenings. I think they are extremely well suited for 2 large families or several couples. The drop off at at the ski hire shop in the morning was much appreciated although we chose to walk it sometimes if we fancied a late start. Liz was knowledgeable about the local area. Her tip on which hot spring to go to was spot on and well worth a visit. The gondola in Bansko can get very congested, particularly as we were there over New year. The lift to the top of the mountain was worth doing to avoid the queues. At the time it was a 10 lev charge per peron and liz could arrange this or you can grab a taxi/ minibus from the town. Its also worth knowing that on new years eve you have to pre-book a table in a restaurant as no bars are available to walk-ins until after midnight! All in all a lovely week away staying in Liz's apartment. We had frequent visits from Liz's friendly dog, Riley.......just keep you socks and slippers hidden! 😂

WHAT an AMAZING HOLIDAY

where do I start, I was picked up at the airport and got to meet other people on the trip, we were delivered door to door. We had hot drinks and cakes waiting and dinner. Dropped off every morning at the gondola station and picked up on an afternoon if we wanted. The food was excellent and having the sauna and steam room afterwards was a delight. The accommodation was so comfortable and friendly, clean and it was always nice a warm , we even had a BBQ outside was evening, it was such a delightful week. Thanks for a lovely week Liz.
