« Everything was seamless from check in to check out. The owners are wonderful, even calling me a couple days before to let me know about an HVAC issue and our options surrounding that. The cabin was very clean and updated and had everything we needed and more. All of the furniture was comfortable and well maintained. Our favorite thing to do during our stay was sit on the deck to enjoy the beautiful view and watch the thunderstorms. We will definitely be returning »

« First I’ll address the driveway.It’s steep, just as described in the description as well as comments. Our 4WD vehicle went up just fine but our other vehicle did not. It stayed safely parked at the bottom of the driveway. Some could consider that an inconvenience however definitely not a ruined vacation, especially considering all this beautiful property has to offer. This cabin is fully stocked! « This was our 2nd summer here and plan to return again next year! The animals, of course, are the highlight of the trip. We also love having a flat yard for my grandchildren to run and play. The cabin is clean and comfortable with easy access to Boone. We love it! »

« Great place to get away to private surroundings. VRBO photos were accurate. Cabin was very clean. House well stocked. We did day trips to Blowing Rock, Valley Cruises, Banner Elk, and Grandfather Mountain, and swam in the swimming hole with waterfall that was a short drive from cabin that we found by asking a local resident for directions. We had a great getaway. »

« The cabin is well maintained and very pleasant place to stay. Be sure to read the Host's manual, although he regularly checks in on VRBO to see how you are doing. Be sure to bring a vehicle that can handle the road leading up to the cabin. Although there is a wide spot where you can park and walk a bit. « One of the best places I've stayed with my family, hands down! My kids spent most of the day catching crawfish and lizards in the creek. We got close with one of the neighbors and it made the trip a million times better. Not only did i feel at home with my kids (hard for me), but i made lifelong memories with my family.
