« Was looking for a cabin that was away from all the noise on the 4th of July. Heard a little bit of noise off in the distance but barely. Definitely more of a hunting lodge, with nice tree stands close by. The beds having no frame is a little uncomfy but all in all was a great stay If you are looking to get away in the middle of nowhere. »

« Everything was just as described with no surprises! Check in was a breeze and the property was quaint and quiet. Love the pond and definitely has some good fishing! It was a perfect getaway to unwind from city life for a few days. Hocking hills is no more than 30 minutes away, mostly due to the winding roads to get there. Town (McArthur) is 5 minutes away with some gas stations and a local market, in case you forgot to bring anything with you. Will certainly be back to this location! »

« Overall we were very happy with our stay. Upon check in you will have to call the host directly to obtain the pin for the door. The cabin was very clean and maintained however there was a pretty bad gnat problem in the bathroom. Mostly confined to the sink, however did make their way out into the kitchen area so we had to make sure we had our food secured. The cabin we had was the same layout to the photos and same amenities however it was not the same cabin as pictured. The hot tub was great. I...

« Michelle was an excellent host. She was very friendly and talked to us each day we were there. Just so you know, this is a cabin. There is no running water or toilet. There is a shower house and port a john. Both were very clean and we really enjoyed the cabin itself. There is a nice porch, a covered porch and plenty of room for two adults and two kids (it was just us when we stayed. There is a ton of open space to hike and wander, like 100 acres worth.  went to put coffee by the coffee machine and there was grease all over the coffee machine had to go out and buy a coffee maker mold in the bathroom. They hide it behind a hamper and when I addressed it, nobody said anything but other than that check-in was awesome and all the hiking was great »
