„The gravel drive that the cabins are on is absolutely horrible. Iv never been on a drive that bad before. There are pot holes everywhere and they are super deep. There are steep hills to go up and down and it’s honestly nearly impossible to do if you don’t have a 4x4. It was only stated in the winter one is needed. I believe it’s needed all year road. „We loved Wilder at Hocking Hills! We stayed at Maren's Hideaway, and it was the perfect retreat! The back deck and hot tub were basically in the woods, affording lots of privacy and beautiful scenery. The interior design was perfect, and the amenities were just what we needed for our stay. The mattress was especially comfortable, and we loved having a fully functional and equipped kitchen at our disposal. The drive to Ash Cave was just around 10 minutes - perfect for a late afternoon hike!“

„The location was exactly what I was looking for to getaway and explore the Hocking Hills parks. The hosts were exceptional at communicating and gave tips and ideas to enjoy our stay.I was a bit concerned with the driveway to the cabin and the amount of potholes. We were easily able to check in and had no issues with the property itself. The hot tub was a nice plus after hiking. We had to share the boat with the neighbors but had fun fishing! It would have been very nice if coffee and teas are provided. Fire woods for the fire pit and charcoal for the bbq grill.“

„Location was excellent, close to downtown Nelsonville and Hocking Hills Ash Cave which we hiked. Nice fenced in area for our dog. Rained heavy one of the days, spent a lot of time in the cabin and found the couch and non-reclining recliner uncomfortable. Also the cabin had a very musty odor that lingered on our clothes when traveling back home. Otherwise decent stay in a beautiful area.“
