This is our second stay at Macauley house, and it was lovely! We come into town to play disc golf and this is such a wonderful centrally-located place to stay. The apartment is very clean and cozy and the host provides all of the comforts and thoughtful touches needed to feel like you are at home away from home.The apartment is beautifully renovated with a full kitchen with coffee maker and plates/utensils, modern full bath, comfortable bed and linens, two tvs, and a nice porch to spend time on. It's walking distance from downtown and several good restaurants. The wifi is strong so it's great if you need to work remotely and there's a desk in the living room. There is dedicated parking for about 4 or 5 cars behind the house.Overall we have had two wonderful stays, and will be looking to stay again the next time we are in town!

Comfortable stay in a wonderfully renovated property

We stayed in the apartment at McCauley House while in town to play disc golf. The apartment is a beautifully renovated unit with so many thoughtful touches by the host! Everything was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. We would love to stay here again the next time we come down!

Cozy and comfortable

I stayed in the apartment over and Elon University event weekend and everything was just perfect. Highly recommend and we’ll plan on staying again!

So cute!!

The apartment was just as shown! Super cute and spacious! The only suggestion I have is to add a mirror in the bedroom so u can get ready while husband takes a shower. Other than that the place is lovely!!

Beautiful and Cozy

Loved staying here while passing through looking at colleges. Very welcoming and cozy. The house is off a busy road but we didn’t even notice.

Great stay at The McCauley House

We stayed 2 nights in apt B. This home is in a location close to so many things, very close to downtown. The property was just as listed. It has large, open spaces in bedroom, living room, and kitchen. The bathroom was nice and larger than many. There was a bench and a cart that sits next to the sink, to hold toiletries and curling irons, etc. This is not in the photos, and we found it very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the curtains allowed us to have it good and dark. We appreciated a private parking lot just for guests. There were several washer/dryer units available for use. The doors all had touch pads for unlocking and it was good to be key-free. Gayla was responsive and helpful, a great host! We would recommend this stay.
