« Fantastic stay. The room was brand new, really well-equipped, spacious and spotless. The tub was definitely a big plus. And breakfast was really tasty. All in all, a perfect stay ! »

« 3 night stay over Easter. Pub was clean and comfortable although bed mattress was very firm which meant disturbed sleep for stay. Owners very welcoming. Breakfast was 8-9am which I felt was a little early as we usually like to have a lazy wake up without having to have alarm on so wasnt as relaxing as we would have liked. Breakfast was good but simple so would not have wanted to stay any longer. 1 or 2 nights at the most. No fruit or alternatives and not asked if we preferred eggs cooked...

« As often-returning guests we appreciate the location, the delightful property, the convenience got and efficiency. A half- hour from our home makes Biggin Hall a very desirable short break venue. »

« Beautiful classic Georgian country Pub. Big comfortable room with a huge bathroom. The bed was also big and comfortable. We didn’t eat at the pub so cannot comment on that, but the village has several nice places to eat. »

« Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay. »

« Nice smart space above shops with an easy 10 minute walk to Buxton centre. Nice kitchenette set up with everything you could need. Unfortunate that we went during the exceptional heatwave and consequently it was uncomfortably warm in there. At night windows needed to be open and the road has a lot of heavy traffic on it from very early in the morning and late night revellers until the early hours. So that maybe worth bearing in mind if you are going when it's hot if at all a light sleeper. »
