The Space:
This home was designed with cozy in mind for effortless entertaining and relaxation. The spacious open-concept living area means you can mingle around the bar for appetizers while you prep dinner in the fully equipped chef’s kitchen. The large dining table is big enough to seat a Thanksgiving dinner or host a family card game. Or, might we suggest a private chef service to prepare the feast while your group lounges on the screened porch?
Oversized sliding glass doors open to a full outdoor living area featuring a dining table, comfy seating, TV, and wine fridge—your perfect spot for morning coffee, evening cocktails, and football games. This home has everything you need for an easy getaway for families – and friends who feel like family. *This is not the house for rowdy late-night parties. Grill and chill is the vibe we’re going for.

James Island is a laid-back, scenic barrier island located just minutes from both historic downtown Charleston and the beaches of Folly Beach. Known for its live oaks draped in Spanish moss, local seafood spots, and relaxed coastal charm, this neighborhood offers the perfect blend of convenience and Lowcountry tranquility.
Guests love James Island for its central location—about 10 minutes to downtown Charleston and 10 minutes to the beach—making it one of the most desirable areas for visitors who want the best of both worlds. The island has a friendly, residential vibe with local restaurants, waterfront parks, cafes, and farmers markets. Popular spots like James Island County Park (famous for its Holiday Festival of Lights), The Pour House, and Bowen’s Island showcase the island’s strong sense of community and love for music, food, and nature.
Getting Around:
James Island is perfectly located between downtown Charleston and Folly Beach, making it easy to explore by car or rideshare.
Car or Rental Car: The easiest way to get around. Most attractions—downtown Charleston, Folly Beach, and local restaurants—are 10–15 minutes away. Parking is generally easy on James Island and available in most downtown garages.
Uber & Lyft: Readily available and usually quick. A ride to downtown averages about 10 minutes, and Folly Beach is around 12–15 minutes.
Downtown Charleston: Only a short drive over the James Island Connector. Once downtown, walking is the best way to explore historic streets, restaurants, and shops.
Folly Beach: Head straight down Folly Road—no turns—until you reach the beachfront. Parking is available in paid lots and along side streets (follow posted signs).

There are cameras located at the front exterior entrance and over driveway.
