« Small B&B which is in a quiet area, but just of main routes so easy to find. There is sufficient off-street parking for guests which is a plus. Breakfast offers a good choice for all tastes and the breakfast room, at the side of the property affords sea views which adds to the pleasant feel of what is obviously a well run B&B. « The hotel has fabulous Christmas decorations that make it feel even cosier and more inviting. The staff were really friendly, professional & welcoming. The room was a good size and clean and well presented, as was the bathroom. The bar area was relaxed and had a nice atmosphere. Only one issue during the visit. The breakfast sandwiches were in stotties that seemed a bit stale. We didn’t feed this back at the time, which I now realise was unfair. Apologies. »

« In spite of some very lovely staff, this hotel is in an appalling state and desperately need of a facelift. Water damage on the walls, peeling paint, leaking toilets, a broken shower and windows that haven’t been cleaned in years. The owners need to spend a lot of money on this establishment that must have been spectacular in the past, as neither it or the staff deserve it being left in this state. »

« It's right bang in the centre of the party . Surprisingly quiet in the room . Everything works fine . You can arrange to book in late . Just ring in advance. I would stay here again the next time I'm travelling in the area . »

« The Beachside is an excellent choice for anyone going to Redcar. It’s exceptionally clean. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I’m booked again for Blam Blam next year it’s such a great place to stay A+++++ »
