This house could be a gem. Poor management has really affected it. The Texas mural is trashed, so the listing picture that they use is misleading. There is no portable speaker, no k cups, one beach towel for the pool, no snacks, and no wine like stated in the guestbook and amenities. None of the patio furniture was usable because they were either broke or had moldy cushions. The whole house’s curtains were too small and the master bath has no window covering so I had to shower in the dark every morning. On night one, a huge roach ran down the hall and we couldn’t find it. We messaged the owner who said they take pest control very seriously. But did nothing so that doesn’t seem like they take it seriously. There were 15 bags of trash on the lawn when we arrived and one bag busted before it was picked up and then the next day, a code enforcement officer banged on our door and issued us a citation for having loose trash in the yard. Then a guy came to the door and wanted to buy a tv stand that had been listed online. Most every fausett was loose and you had to hold on to it to turn it on. The toilet seats slid when you sat down. There were dirty socks from previous tenants hanging on the upstairs shower when we got there. The back yard has lots of small trash like bottle caps, ziplock bags, cigar butts, plastic party trash. I have pictures of all of these items except the backyard trash and almost all of these things were mentioned to the owners who did nothing to help us.
