„The property was warm and welcoming. However, the stairs are very steep and narrow - not ideal for elderly people. The downside was that we never received the key code to get into the property and had to communicate with the owner via the Vrbo website when we arrived. However she responded immediately - very good. Is this a problem with the Vrbo website?“

„Excellent location for family get-together & birthday party. The host (Fiona) was extremely helpful & pub staff provided really great service & friendly too. Pub Food was excellent 100% accurate for such a large party. The accommodation is a little quirky, but exactly as expected given it’s within a 16th century property. Great that they also have a (convenience) shop on site given that the local store is now permanently closed.“

„There was many things that were incredibly disappointing about this property. An hour before arriving we received a message to say the main bathroom toilet was blocked and they weren’t going to fix it before our stay, meaning the only toilets available were inside the 2 en-suite bathrooms. After arriving we found the house in what seemed to be mid construction. The kitchen was still covered in protective plastic, with cupboards without handles and a complete lack of cutlery, glasses and plates. ...

„What a fantastic find this property was. We had a wonderful stay with family and were well catered for in every aspect. The property has everything needed for a really enjoyable stay, from toiletries and kitchen appliances, to entertainment options like TVs in every room and a lovely hot tub! We rented both properties and it worked excellently for us as there was a big communal area for our three families to congregate, but plenty of space to escape and chill out in another room. “
