« We had a wonderful three-night weekend stay in this lovely house. Despite the nine of us, it never felt crowded or cramped. The kitchen and lounge were spacious while the outdoor area and bedrooms and bathrooms were all well-sized. Everything was spotlessly clean, with crisp white bedding and towels complemented by lovely matching accessories. The separate games room was a huge hit. The hosts were excellent, checking in with us throughout our stay. We even asked for extra towels and they were...

« Amazing property in a beautiful area - a big group of my friends went here for a long weekend and the property had soany amenities to keep us entertained the whole weekend (pool, hot tub, ping pong table, sauna, pool table, big garden). We brought our own volleyball nets and rounders kits and had a blast. Jacqui was a lovely host and even supplied us with some veg! Would highly recommend for big groups or people who want to hike around the area too. »

« Property served its purpose well. Parts were a tad tired such as the stair carpets and big dips in the bedroom floors but the kitchen and dining room lounge were nice. Garden scruffy and no outside furniture. Oven was in need of a scrub. Beds were comfy however not enough bedding for the sofa bed or towels for everyone. No hand towels in the bathrooms just flannels. There was enough crockery for everyone and great kitchen facilities. Communicating with the host was excellent and very smooth. »

« We recently stayed at this property for just 2 nights as a base while exploring London, and we barely used the place, making it impossible for us to cause the kind of stains they later claimed. We received an email stating that a portion of our deposit would be kept due to “extra cleaning” for marks on the wall - which were already there when we arrived and are completely normal for a well-lived space and for a torn throw that was already in poor condition upon check-in. We made sure to leave...

« It’s such a shame that the owners aren’t maintaining the property, On arrival the gate needs repairs ,the courtyard needs slabs replacing and just a general clean up ( weeds , debris everywhere and shabby bamboo hiding all sorts of things that shouldn’t be seen at a “ luxury barn “ . The main problems with the interior was a lack of windows with blinds that can be opened easily the downstairs bedroom with the patio doors had what looked like bin bags glued to the skylight windows. « This property is located in a super convenient, very walkable location. Restaurant options and groceries are convenient. The home is clean and includes all necessary amenities. The basement flat offers a private living area that is great for large groups. As prior guests have warned, there are a lot of stairs. With the recent heat wave, it’s understandable the that outdoor window boxes are not well kept. The property does not have central air. Only window units so the temperature stays pretty...
