The Space:

The Lehigh Suite at The Inn on Jefferson offers a spectacular blend of industrial history and high-end modern design. Once a historic rug shop, this side-by-side loft-style suite provides a massive, multi-level floor plan with no neighbors above or below you. The architectural highlight is the soaring living area, featuring the original exposed and sealed ceilings paired with contemporary luxury finishes.



The main level is designed for groups, featuring a sun-drenched living room with a 65" flat-screen TV and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen with seating for six. Tucked away behind custom cabinetry, you will find a private washer and dryer for your convenience. This floor also includes a dedicated den that doubles as a professional workspace, complete with an electric standing desk and ergonomic chair. For additional guests, the den features a 55" TV and a sofa that pulls out into a queen-sized bed, with sliding doors and a nearby full bathroom providing privacy and comfort.



Upstairs, the loft level hosts two expansive primary suites. Each bedroom features a built-in king bed with integrated USB power and a private ensuite bathroom. The interior walls of the loft are crafted from glass, creating a "cool," open architectural feel that overlooks the living area below. For rest and privacy, these glass walls are equipped with darkening curtains. In total, the suite offers four televisions with Hulu Live TV and full streaming capabilities, along with three brand-new, modern bathrooms.



Your comfort is prioritized in every season with radiant floor heating and individual AC units in every room. One of the most unique features of the property is the fully heated exterior; the garage, driveway, and city sidewalk are all heated to ensure a safe, ice-free experience. You will have access to one dedicated parking space in the attached garage. Please note that garage parking is shared and can be tight for oversized vehicles; street parking and city ramps are available nearby as alternatives.



Guests enjoy full private access to the entire suite via a shared lobby entrance. To preserve the quality of this historic restoration, we require a two-night minimum stay on weekends.

You will have full private access to the entire Lehigh Suite and one assigned parking space located in our attached garage. Arrival is effortless with secure keyless entry using your provided code.

You’ll be surrounded by the neighborhood's legendary architecture while remaining just steps from the city's pulse. This is the ultimate walkable destination—from here, you can easily reach Van Andel Arena, the Acrisure Amphitheater, and the Medical Mile on foot. The immediate area is a culinary treasure trove, with diverse dining options right outside your door. It’s a peaceful, sophisticated sanctuary with the best museums, nightlife, and culture of downtown Grand Rapids just a short stroll away.



Getting Around:

Downtown Grand Rapids is exceptionally walkable, and you’ll find that many of the best downtown attractions are just a short stroll away. For a faster way to see the sights, Lime scooters and bike rentals are readily available nearby, offering a fun and efficient way to navigate the surrounding neighborhoods.



If you prefer a ride, Uber and Lyft are highly active in this area and typically arrive within minutes. While the suite includes one assigned parking space, additional vehicles can be accommodated via metered street parking along Jefferson Avenue and adjacent streets. There are also several public parking lots and ramps within walking distance that provide flexible hourly, daily, or long-term options.

Parking & Transportation

One assigned garage space is included with your stay. If you have a large truck or SUV, please note it likely will not fit. For additional vehicles, metered street parking is available, or the 111 Library NE parking lot is a convenient 4-minute walk (daily max approx. $25).



High-Speed Fiber Internet

The Lehigh Suite features dedicated Xfinity Fiber Optic Internet. Unlike most rentals, each suite at The Inn on Jefferson has its own private network, ensuring your speeds remain fast and secure without interference from other guests.



Entertainment

Our television includes Hulu Live TV for local and cable channels. You are also welcome to use the pre-installed apps (Netflix, Prime, Disney+, HBO, etc.) with your personal login—just remember to sign out upon departure.



Professional Licensing

The Inn on Jefferson is a licensed hotel (License: HM-17-0029). Because we operate under hotel regulations rather than standard short-term rental ordinances, we are fully authorized for both single-night and extended stays, providing you with extra peace of mind regarding your reservation.



Group Stays

Property Integrity

The booking guest is 100% responsible for the conduct of all members of their party.



Strict No-Smoking Policy: Smoking or vaping of any kind is 100% prohibited anywhere on the property, including inside the suites, outdoor areas, and the driveway. Guests who wish to smoke must walk completely off the property to the public sidewalk and away from the building.



Smoking Penalties:

Smoking anywhere on the property (outdoor areas, driveway, patio): $500 fine.

Smoking inside a suite: $1,000 fine plus additional deep-cleaning fees if necessary.



Quiet Hours: 11 PM – 8 AM. We value all of our guests and their right to a quiet and peaceful stay. During quiet hours, no parties, gatherings, yelling, loud conversations, amplified music, televisions, speakers, or other excessive noise is permitted.



A quiet-hours violation includes:

Noise made anywhere outside on the property that can be heard inside another guest’s suite. Noise originating inside a suite that can be heard inside another guest’s suite.

Excessive noise resulting in a verified complaint from another guest.



Violations may be documented by a verified guest complaint, staff observation, or exterior cameras.



Any documented violation of quiet hours will result in a $1,000 fee.



Booking: 2-night minimum stay required on weekends (Fri/Sat/Sun).
