„The home has a very open layout and was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The property is amazingly beautiful with a lovely garden. At night the frogs come out and sing their songs. The stream and waterfall on the property is amazing. So serene and full of natural beauty. Do wear your mosquito repellent as they are in numbers in this area. Wish we had booked for a few more days as it was so nice. Highly recommend!“

„Great private location, quiet and beautiful place to relax but close to activities. We cooked most of our meals there in the little kitchen which provided most of the essentials. The washer and dryer was perfect for our week stay. The room stayed cool with the extra fans. We definitelywill be returning. “

„Tolle, große Unterkunft. Sehr sauber und ordentlich. Hat alles was man braucht und mega gut ausgestattet. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft in Hilo. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 5-10 Minuten in Hilo Downtown und bei Supermärkten. Absolute Weiterempfehlung ! :)“

„Kohala Lodge is not just a place to stay, it is a destination. If you visit the Big Island, it is one of the bucket-list experiences you must have. Scenic, tranquil, magical all come to mind. Sit on the expansive front porch and contemplate that you are on an island in the Pacific with a view of Maui in the distance. Feed the animals with pellets provided by the owner. When the breeze gets quite cool, you can build a fire in the stone fireplace with wood provided by the owner. I did not cook, so ...

„We enjoyed our stay at this clean, thoughtfully decorated, and conveniently located residence. It was somewhat difficult to find the first time due to all the cars parked on the road, making the driveway hard to find. However, once we found it, we were easily able to find our parking spot and get into the home thanks to the directions sent from Simone. The home is very cozy and we enjoyed our stay. We were thankful for the earplugs as the frogs are quite loud at night.“
