« This is a good option to try a ryokan. The family is very nice, the property is clean and the breakfast delicious. However is what you look for is real comfort, probably you should go to a more high-end ryokan with your own private bathroom as the common toilets, washing areas and onsen (there are no regular showers) of this one are on the small side and not very comfortable. « We stayed here as a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids - 10, 6 and 4) in the traditional Japanese room. We didn't get in till 6ish and left early so we could get to Kamikochi but I wish we had of added another night or at least got there at check in time to make the most of the facilities. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the onsen. The traditional room is set up for tea when you arrive and then the staff comes back later to make the beds for you. The kids loved the experience. « Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 2 nuits dans ce ryokan. La chambre était très confortable et le onsen etait très bien. Le personnel a été très accueillant et au petit soin pour nous conseiller des restaurants ou s'occuper de l'envoi de nos bagages. Le petit-déjeuner japonais était excellent et différent chaque jour. L'hotel prête de très beaux yukatas le temps du séjour. »
