„Kikala Waterfall Lodge is a unique experience. Nature is your lullaby. We fell asleep to the sound of flowing water, croaking frogs, and the birds chirping. The rain shower added to the experience. The cabin was clean. The lodge had all you would need -kitchen, bathroom with shower, a living space with couch and chairs. „My family stayed here for a week for celebrations and a family reunion. The property is stunning and the hosts are kind, welcoming and well-informed on the area and property. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen extremely well-equipped (a vitamix!) „This is a beautiful, large house designed and constructed in the 1930s for a wealthy Hilo family. The main interiors are dark wood, with original custom bannisters and similar craftsmanship, and the furnishings are period-correct. The present owners have upgraded in various ways, including adding in-room air conditioning (we didn't need, but it was nice to have the option), retrofitted bathrooms, kitchen, wiring, and similar.
