„Our group of 8 (my husband and I, our four adult children, one son’s girlfriend and one daughter´s boyfriend) spent ten nights at ´HALE KONA AÉKAI´. This was our third visit to the Big Island. „The views from both lanais are amazing! We enjoyed several evenings sitting outside enjoying the sunsets. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to dine in. I would definitely stay here again.“

„We really enjoyed our stay in this beautifully laid out house. The pool, the location and the layout of the rooms are really great! To get to a 5 star rating, however, the house needs in one or the other place a repair and basic cleaning (stairs to the pool wobbles, pictures and walls partially yellowed, in one or the other place wobbles or missing something). „Although we both grew up near the ocean, being steps from the waves lapping on the lava rocks was something special. Breakfast on the deck and cocktails toasting the setting sun were both very special. We even viewed whales breeching a few hundred yards offshore one morning. Located next to Honl's Beach, it was a short and easy stroll into town, yet close enough to golf courses, snorkeling tours and the amazing Volcanoes National Park. „Amazing location on the bay. The house is definitely a little older and the lack of ac could be an issue but they provided lots of fans and in room ac units that worked fine with the cooler January breezes.“

„The condo was wonderful. We really appreciated the air conditioning during our stay. The kids loved the pool, the views were spectacular. We could hear the traffic on the road but it did not impact our sleeping. We would definitely stay here again.“

„The condo was clean and all of the basic necessities were provided. The one thing we found odd was that none of the bathroom doors had locks on them. The check-in and check-out process were perfect and we were provided with easy instructions on how to arrive at the property. The pool area was nice and clean too. My family had a great time. „The property was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Walking to coffee, dinner, the beach, or local shopping was mostly easy. The street past the property can be quite busy and has no sidewalk. The host provided towels and bleach gear for our use, which was very appreciated. WiFi was fast, linens were fresh, and there were enough fans to make sleeping very comfortable. „We LOVED our stay in this home. Being right on the ocean was amazing. My son saw sea turtles when snorkeling by the house. We enjoyed beach time, coffee tours and other island exploring. The location made it easy to go anywhere. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and the games provided. The hot tub was another bonus. We highly recommend this home for a family getaway.“

„This is a very outdated place, pretty rundown, and rude an in friendly management, 300 $$ for a 30yo ugly sofa bed .. don’t expect sand beaches it’s a fake and rocks allow no beach access. Avoid this place.“

„Check in was snow, the room guaranteed by 4:00 pm, I was there at 3:40pm and they won’t let us to the room till 4:00pm, this resort didn’t provide shampoo and conditioner, it is kind of weir.“

„Large apartment and basically nice facility. Apartment had only one queen bed, although we had booked a king bed. There was no air conditioning available. So we had to sleep at about 30 degrees Celcius (90 degrees Fahrenheit), which was anything but relaxing. So these were the 4 worst nights on our 4 week Hawaii trip. An alternative room with air conditioning was - on repeated requests - although promised, but never offered. A compensation was not done. Therefore, we can not recommend this ...
