This was the perfect place for us and our 10 yr old grandson. He had his own private loft and could be on his own. Beautiful property with fishing lake that we spent many hours on. The row boat was great as we could move around on the lake to try different spots to catch fish. Kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials plus the little things we didn’t think about. We enjoyed so much it will be on our list to come back.

The most quaint and relaxing cabin in the woods. So easy to unwind here. No frills but they keep the basics stocked! Beds are super comfy. Loved the wildlife to watch out by the lake, deer grazing every morning. Great spot to slow time down and just enjoy the little things.

I had one of my most awesome stays over two nights at this very peaceful cabin. It's a comfortable 2-hour drive away from Chicago and once you get there, it is peace and quite. The log cabin has a welcoming smell to it. It's very clean, maintained and stocked very well. The cabin has two bedrooms on the first floor, and a loft with two single beds and a double - perfect for a family of 4-6 people. It has the Fisk Lake behind that we walked to, but it wasn't yet boating time in early spring and we definitely want to visit again in summer to do that. There's the little town on Bangor close by that has a grocery, and South Haven some 20 minutes away for some great restaurants and walks along the pier. It also has the Van Buren State Park with amazing trails. Certainly a cabin we want to bust again!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The hosts were responsive and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This cabin is located in a very quiet wooded area. Cozy, warm, inviting, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. This was a nice retreat to get away and share with friends. We enjoyed walking back to the pond and seeing the views and wildlife including bluebirds and a Pileated woodpecker! We enjoyed shopping and eating in South Haven. We had a wonderful stay!

This was my second stay at Grandpa's Cabin and absolutely loved it! I don't get to see my dad and brother as much as I'd like but we managed to get together for "deer camp". We used the cabin as a base for our nearby adventures and it was fabulous. Highly recommend.

This property is truly beautiful! The cabin is well built and stocked and very clean. The setting is idyllic, from the yard around the cabin, to the native grass and wildflower field behind, to the orchards and the lake—you can sense the love the owners have for the land. Fishing was excellent, and we saw abundant wildlife. Communication was prompt and friendly. One of the best stays I’ve booked. We plan to make it an annual event here!

This was the absolute best place we've ever stayed. The price was cheaper than renting 2 hotel rooms for 3 nights. The cabin was rustic and so beautiful, we had our daughter and grandkids with us and they had a blast. It was located close to our relatives, on a lake with apple trees. We had a great stay! We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and spacious, open layout main floor. The only small issue was that the staircase and balcony do not have spindles, so something to be aware of if you have small children. However, there is a baby gate available.

We wanted a country scene for our stay in Michigan to get away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist towns. We were less than 30 minutes from where we wanted to go—South Haven, St. Joseph, Benton Harbor. We enjoyed our stay! The cabin is spacious and well appointed. There are thoughtful details throughout. The cabin is somewhat remote, groceries, restaurants, etc. are a little far to get to. We needed relaxation and restoration and that is exactly what this lovely cabin delivered. Well appointed kitchen so we were able to eat dinners in but not too far from south haven where we were able to enjoy the art fair and beach. This Vrbo was the perfect location for my sisters wedding at “something blueberry farm” down the street. The log cabin was absolutely idyllic and we would stay here again in a heartbeat if we are ever in the area. The house was great, the trails were beautiful and there was even a little playset for my toddler to enjoy. We also really appreciated the simple checkout process
