Hotel Lexington - Salisbury

« The room had peeling paint around the AC unit..peeling paint in the bathroom. We did meet an overdressed lady on our way to our room on the 2nd floor who asked us what state she was in. Obviously she was in the state of confusion. »

« I was not able to reschedule my stay for a week later even though a state emergency had been declared in the face of the winter storm. Both Expedia and Hampton said it was up to the other entity. I will not be using Expedia again. »

« Dirty rooms. Outside was just as bad as the inside, trash EVERYWHERE. all the doors were messed up. If youre a single person or honestly anyone this place is NOT safe. They dont seem to care about the cleanliness and act all suprised when you come back saying its horrible. Theres bugs in the room, and we were itchy and got rashes from the bed (laid in it for 10 minutes while we found other options before leaving). Theres druggies and weird people that hang around. « Rick, in the main office, was nice. My room was not. There were stains on the couches and chairs. The floor was sticky and dirty throughout. There were a dozen+ stink bugs on walls and furniture. There was an empty can of odor control fogger on the floor beside the bed. The bed was broken and shifted off its base. There wasn't a light bulb in the lamp by the bed. The towel rack was broken off. Floor board in the kitchen was peeling back. I found a different hotel for the second night of my stay....

« Wait outside 20minutes on freezing weather and ring a bells until person who sleep inside wake up . After wake up this person start screaming on us( why we ring a bell and and make phone calls on work phone) Terrible service »

« We had an issue with being in the system on check and there was confusion at night. The staff got it figured out and actually moved us the second night due to the family above us jumping and stomping all day and night. There was no issue with the request. Breakfast was good amd had a large assortment of choices. »

« Our room was mostly clean. The bath toilet had a leak underneath onto the floor. The sheer curtains had yellow and brown stains. The refrigerator wasn't on so we had to turn it on and wait for it to cool to put drinks in. That never happened. Lucky we had a cooler and there was ice on our floor. Breakfast was good if you weren't eating eggs. Boiled eggs would not peel. Scrambled eggs were almost runny and tasteless. We've stayed at this Hampton Inn in the past. It was much better. ...
