„Das einzig positive an diesem Hotel ist die Lage am Strand. Es gibt kein ordentliches Frühstück und auch kein Restaurant zum Abendessen. Die Hotelbar schliesst um 20.00 Uhr, man kann dann nirgends mehr gemütlich sitzen und etwas trinken. Haben wir noch nie erlebt. Unheimlich teuer, zusätzlich eine Resortgebühr, die zwar Liege und Handtücher beinhaltet, aber keinen Schirm, der kostet dann nochmals. Die Bedienungen sind mit Getränken und Essen bringen am Mittag an der Poolbar völlig überfordert. ...

„Ja das Hotel ist alt und bedarf Sanierung. Doch dann ist es doppelt so teuer und einer dieser allgegenwärtigen Kästen. So hat es eine tolle Lage und Mitarbeiter die sich zumindest Mühe geben. Einschränkungen im Komfort sollte das ausgleichen.“

„War unser zweiter Besuch im Islander Inn, hat uns also vorher schon gefallen. Beim ersten Mal war es was schwer zu finden, weil es kein Hotel, sondern ein umgebautes Haus ist. Die Einrichtung hat keine Rezeption, bei Ankunft findet man einen Zettel mit Türcode vor. Das Zimmer ist ruhig, sauber, gut ausgestattet (Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, WLan) und nur wenige hundert Meter vom Strand entfernt. Badezimmer ist prima, das Bett ebenfalls. „I can't say enough good things about this place. We had 6 adults, 21-56, and a 6 year old, 5 year old and 8 month old. The cottage was spacious to accommodate our needs. It had all the amenities you would need in a vacation home. The location was spectacular for a short walk to the beach and St. Armands Circle, not to mention the airport was only 16 minutes from this peace of paradise.
