„Was a little hard to get to driving in and accessing the cabin, wasn’t expecting that, but made due with a longer walk around the “mountain” by the cabin in front the pond. The location of the cabin is wonderful and has a personal gazebo style place to sit and relax or can enjoy the hot tub or a camp fire. The people we met were so nice and friendly!! „Had a wonderful time. Only 2 very small recommendations for improvement are that the fireplace room tv soundbar is too loud with no volume control from remotes and the sidewalk leading up to the house is very rough with tree branches that need trimmed.“

The host was very accommodating and friendly, and our family of 4 enjoyed the peace and quiet offered here. I loved the German aesthetic in the cabin, and we all enjoyed the outdoor space the gazebo offered as well. Be prepared to trek up some unpaved roads to get back to the cabin, but it’s well worth it! “

„The Rustic Mountain Retreat is a small, cute cabin with an amazing view off the deck. My husband and I went for our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was perfect for the two of us. The hot tub isn’t super private as there is the Wilderness cabin drive rite by the fire pit for this cabin, but it still feels private enough. The road leading up to the cabin is pretty rough in some spots but we had fun with it since we have a Jeep Wranger and it kinda felt like we were off roading. I feel like the ...

„Our 6 day visit was very enjoyable. The host is nice and responded to our request for additional garbage bags right away; we were pleasantly surprised. The cabin is very well kept and decorated in such a manner that we felt like we were right at home, with all of the modern day appliances, tasteful home decor, We spent some time swinging on the front porch and relaxed watching the light traffic pass by off the peaceful country road. We would stay here again when we visit with nearby family. “

„Perfect location for our needs this trip. Great property. Medical note: the bathroom is downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs. So elderly or arthritic guests will need to exercise care during nighttime bathroom visits. We are both, but we managed. Don’t let it discourage you from enjoying this property. Just fyi.“
