„I liked the fact the hotel was right on the main street making it easy access to amenities. We wanted to have a meal in the restaurant but it was never opened which was disappointing“

„The Savoy is a mixture of good and bad. The public rooms are beautiful with a lot of original features. Our suite at first glance looked fresh and clean but on closer inspection the bathroom was quite dirty. The bath at some time was a Jacuzzi but this no longer functioned as such. The tiles on the bathroom floor were incredibly slippery - we had to lay towels over the entire floor. We would have liked bath robes to be available. „Das Hotel an sich hatte Charme, das Zimmer hatte einen schönen Meerblick. Sanitär sehr in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mehr zeitgemäß -Badewanne mit Duschvorhang, Mischbatterien mit Kalt- und Warmwasser zum selber mixen- alles ziemlich verkalkt. Komplettes Zimmer mit Teppich ausgelegt. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren wegen Darts in Blackpool, für Urlaub würden wir dort niemals wieder hin fliegen.. “

There is nothing the owners won’t do to make your stay the best it can be so helpful knowledgeable and just very down to earth nice welcoming people. I can’t recommend it enough as you will have to try it for yourself and you won’t be disappointed.“
