Städtereisen Mount Penn

Much nicer than I expected! Naomi at the front desk was excellent!

Good stay

There was sand in the bed and sewer flies in the shower. The floor is uneven and feels like the house is going to collapse.

Pros: close to the beach; breakfast at the corner diner was delicious, as was the ice cream; ice was available; a gathering space w coffee and water; clean linens when requested; keyless front entry. The cleaning staff and restaurant staff were friendly. There is parking nearby in a small lot. Cons: the room was small; only having one room key was frustrating; the bed too soft & bouncy; threadbare and stained sheets; tiny, tiny shower; visibly dusty ceiling fan had sprayed dust across the walls so we didn’t even turn it on; cumbersome front 3 doors (should really remove the storm door as it plays no purpose); unresponsive management (we left a voice mail and an email and never heard back). Also, we booked a Queen room and got stuck with a Full bed, which was too small for friends to share. Overall: still might visit again as we had better experiences in past stays and it is a very convenient location.
