« Our stay was perfect. We were away for a romantic trip and the cottage was perfect for that. The cottage was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a romantic few days away, including two big bath towels each, never mind all the other little touches and the excellent welcome basket. We would highly recommend it to anyone and would love to come back someday. »

« We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful property in the Lake District. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The location was perfect: peaceful and secluded, but only a short drive (or a long, scenic walk!) to some amazing views, great pubs, and some fantastic hiking trails. We loved being able to set off on foot and find hidden tarns and breathtaking views without even needing the car.Inside, everything was spotlessly clean and incredibly...

« Great location near chester and the Delamere forest , great for walks , Janet and Roger where great host very friendly, beautifull property , would happily go again »

« Beautiful lodge, it had a home from home feel. It was cosy and comfortable with great space. We loved the hot tub. I would stay again and definitely recommend. The location was great, we drove but also great bus links. »

« Rating is more specific to hotels.com listing details, not the actual space. Note that hotels.com incorrectly shows the location on the map, house is actually over an hour walk from the center of Windermere. Further, hotels.com inaccurately details free WiFi at the accommodation. Space itself is about as pictured. Very cosy, lovely garden, however did quite aggressively smell of wet dog and conservatory had some spiders/cobwebs. »
