    Complete with views of the tidal marsh from the private screened porch, this lovely 3BR/2BA home is an ideal choice for your coastal getaway. Spend sunny days on the shore, conveniently located just a 4-minute walk from home.

    Unwind in the living area, which offers seating for the group and a large Smart TV (Guests are encouraged to bring owe Roku stick, firestick, etc.). The gourmet kitchen is equipped with a full suite of stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Keep the chef company at the three-person kitchen island. When meals are ready, the table seats six.

    This home sleeps six guests in three bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed, patio access, and an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity and a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, while the third bedroom has two twin beds. The adjacent bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.

    Enjoy the coastal breeze on the screened porch, which presents views of the tidal marsh. An outdoor shower is ideal for rinsing off after fun-filled beach days.

    This wonderfully located home is a 4-minute stroll from the coastline. Nearby attractions include the Ocean Crest Fishing Pier, the Environmental Overlook Trail, and the historic village of Southport.

Quiet, well-kept home

Nice place, easy access to beach and the bridge across the marsh. Porches in front and back were nice, it worked very well for 6 people. We would definitely come back.

Peaceful marsh and wonderful location.

This property was absolutely lovely. The kitchen was well-equipped, there was an abundance of games for the rainy days, and the back deck looking over the marsh was one of my favorite places. Thank you so much for a lovely week.

Great Vacation Rental!

We have been coming to OKI for several years and my family agreed this property was top of the list. Clean, well stocked kitchen, open floor plan with lots of space. The property is close to beach access, what more could you ask for. Would recommend to others and would love to rent this property again.

Nice property that is clean and nicely furnished that doesn't break the bank. Pleasant walk to beach with marsh in the back (dont forget bug spray) that offers back porch privacy. Will definitely book again!

Great house with lots of updates!

This is my second time here and the updates were so well executed! New updates in the kitchen AND an air fryer that's great for quick meals for the kids. Would definitely recommend this house to others!

Quick walk to the beach!

We loved the location and cleanliness of the house. Quiet and safe neighborhood with both quick walks (or bike rides) to beach access or quick trips to the grocery store. We loved having our family dinners at the big table and the outdoor shower was a great addition to rinsing off sand. I would recommend bringing your own towels if it’s a larger family. And bottom part of fridge freezes things so beware of that, but neither of these hindered our stay. Our stay was great and I would book again in the future!

Oak Island Comfort

The home was very comfortable for our family of five. Very convenient as it was less than a five minute walk to the beach and about a mile from the grocery store and restaurants. Only complaint is that there were several lights out with no bulbs to replace and the dishwasher seems to be failing. The location and neighborhood still made this spot a 5 out of 5 for us!

we loved the house it was very clean that is my top priority , location was great, But I would like to tell about things in this house that needs attention, no hot water in the kitchen!!! the refrigerator froze our milk, no vacuum bags in the vacuum cleaner and shower curtain needs replacing in master bath, overall we had a great time. Yes I would stay there agian

The property was clean, overall, aside for some knats and a dirty pan that had been put in a cupboard. There were no coffee filters for a Ninja that requires special filters and very little hand soap available. There was not a lot of cookware. There was a drawer in the master that was off the railing so when my husband opened it, his leg got cut. Aside from this, the view of the marsh was pretty and we loved the open flow. The rooms were all spacious and comfortable. It was only a short walk to the beach. Overall, an enjoyable vacation!

Is as described!

I loved the check in by Vacasa upon arrival! The property was as described, spacious, clean, towels and linens as well as ample toilet paper, shampoo and kitchen utensils! The ONLY complaint is the location of the smoke detector. When the oven is on (without smoke) it screeches often and loudly. I don’t know the fire codes in NC but the placement couldn’t be in a worse location.

Perfect for our Family!

We absolutely enjoyed this house! It was a perfect location, a very quiet neighborhood. We rented a golf cart and this made the location which is four rows back from the beach much more do able going to the beach with our things. The house was very clean, and beautiful! The bed in the master bedroom was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The kitchen sink wasn’t hooked to the hot water. But, honestly these two things would not stop us from renting this house again. We would definitely return!

Beach gear not included as listing stated, was advised that listing had not been updated. Fridge did not make ice and outdoor shower was missing shower head. However, house was very clean, great location. Just wish i would have kbown beach gear not included before arriving, as that is why i booked this house

Long Beach home

Great location and nice open floor plan with a lg dining room table, 3 seats at the bar and lg livingroom with plenty of comfy couches/ love seats. The House needs more TLC - worn out blinds, worn and stained area rug, lg stains on the bedroom carpets. The master bedrm blinds were missing 6 vertical panels. I Don't know who is to blame for this Vacasa- mngt company or the owner.It is a beautiful home with 1.5 block, easy walk to the beach and it has the 2 decks. Restaurants are a short.drive. We rode our bikes to the Pepperoni Grill. No beach stuff -no chairs, toys, beach towels.

Cute home

Cute home with spacious main living area, short walk to public beach access . Was very clean inside, though could use a little TLC on the screened porch. It was clear it had been recently renovated with new flooring throughout. The big disappointment was the kitchen, which was lacking in basic utensils like a spatula, bottle opener and knife to chop vegetables. The refrigerator was also not working right, with mani ice, water and it kept freezing out fruit in the drawers but drinks on the top shelf were warm. Also, no outdoor grill! It was clear the owner rents the house, doesn’t stay in it. Also, bring your towels from home. They provided a mixture of mismatched old towels.

Mostly great house, customer service responses not good

Loved the house - clean, open, light, super cute, great for playing board games and making food. Bedrooms pretty well insulated from noise in the front of the house. Two nice porches, screened in porch on the back. Super great location, nice quiet neighborhood, lots of mature vegetation around, short walk to the beach. Fantastic outdoor shower - one of the highlights! However, queen size mattress was pure junk - so difficult for a couple to sleep on, single bed mattresses not much better. Dishwasher was broken (pieces missing that prevented the spray action from working as it should) - dishes with food stuck to them in the cabinets when we arrived, and pots and pans that were dirty/greasy when we arrived. Dryer left black streaks on two white shirts. We contacted customer service who were great at apologizing, but nothing was resolved during our stay. If these issues were addressed, we would definitely consider returning.
