« The good: This hotel is beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. The room was comfortable and, the first night, very quiet. The tiny town is charming, an architectural throwback. Nice bakery across the street. The not so good: The hotel has no staff on site - literally never saw an employee. Since I had no cell phone service in the entire area and the hotel has no landline phones accessible by guests, the only way to communicate was via internet. So, when internet service went completely out...

« My sister and I came here for a 2 day stay. It rained off and on but we had a great time. We wanted an adventure and to stay somewhere different where we were "roughing" it a bit yet very comfortable. That's Ewa's place. It's an old RV but she thought of everything to make it cozy and well stocked. Nice and quiet, surrounded by nature, lotsa pillows, blankets, fresh eggs, and then she brought us 1/2 & 1/2 and butter! Thank You, kind host. We left peaceful and well tended to. »

« Our host was amazing. Upon booking, they shared a wealth of information about local attractions, hikes, food, etc. The house was extremely well stocked and there was nothing we needed that wasn't there. Impeccably clean too! »

« We had a lovely stay at Marin Castle. We came for the view and it didn’t disappoint! Alice was a fantastic host and answered all of our questions quickly. We were in town to visit family in Alameda and Petaluma. If we come again, we would plan for several days of relaxation on top of the mountain rather than go up and down the mountain for our visits as it added extra time to our day.
