Châteaux à Salem

« The hotel is very new and is located a short walk from everything. There is a Starbucks right downstairs, and one of the few restaurants that keep the kitchen open (Neighborhood Tavern) after 10 is across the street. The only complaints I have is the parking lot is not visible from the building and the front desk is only staffed from 9 to 6. They have a very easy-to-use phone access method for getting into the building and your room. But I can see how this would not be as easy for older, less...

« Room was clean but no dresser. Had to live out of suitcase for a week. Bathroom was pretty but no counter space. The room was nice but not practical. Full length mirror was nice but an accident waiting to happen. There was a circuit breaker that kept going off and turning the tv and lights off. We gave up on the tv. Needs some maintenance there. Having to take out trash out ourselves was unexpected too. The walls are paper thin and you can hear people’s voices and the tv in the next room....
