« We had a brilliant time and the staff were wonderful! Very well maintained hotel, excellent breakfast, and a wonderful view. The staff gave us some local tips, and sorted out our parking permit. Less than a ten minute walk from the town centre and castle, so we'll be staying here again! »

« I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. « Comfortable bed, some noise from people on the landing as there was a gap at the bottom of the door but this was only a minor inconvenience. Friendly staff, plenty of teacand coffee in the room too. »
