« There is no such building called the Picton waterfront apartments. The building is actually called the Oxley rock Apartments. There is nice signage or any indication anywhere that we are at the Picton waterfront apartments. This created total confusion and frustration whilst we walk outside in heavy rain with our luggage paper in hand trying to figure it out. Very poor experience. Phone calls and email went unanswered. Apparently, we were supposed to be sent an email explaining how to check...

« I don’t generally like to write negative reviews but after reading all the 5 stars review in felt I should share my experience. We had room 62. The view was nice the room was like in the picture. But the state of the room was terrible, the carpet was full of holes and stain the space between the bed and the wall was about 6 inches you have to crawl sideways. There was a dirty rag left on the bathroom floor but the cleaning people. For 300$ NZD for the night we were not expecting a 5 star...

« Excellent apartment for our family fresh off a flight from the UK. Really clean and high quality finish. Communications from hosts were excellent. A short 15min walk in to Hanmer itself so you are both close enough and in a really peaceful setting. We wish we could have stayed longer. »
