« If you want to camp and have a camping experience, then this is the perfect spot! Lots of animals to see between the owner's horses and cats. The kitchen and bathroom are both shared spaces, not with the owners, but with the multiple other cabins on the property. So you are not super secluded from other people. We went in October, and the outdoor shower did not have hot water, so it was a rather cold shower. Holly, the owner, did say that they are going to replace the water heater soon, but...

« Excellent location between Frankenmuth and Birch Run. Adorable cottage cabin with farmhouse decor. Water has NO well water taste or smell. It ran clear quickly! A bit of toothpaste left behind on a towel and towels hanging on bar were damp when we arrived. The makeup rag was dirty, and makeup colors ran from the rag into the sink when I ran it under warm water to use it. The bedding was crisp, clean and comfortable though. Vrbo was fantastic to work with! »

Our family enjoyed using the kayaks and exploring the lakes and channels nearby, as well as using the fishing gear that was all supplied at the house. Quiet and peaceful area, the lake is very private so we could float around casually and go to the sand bar. »
