Excellent location. The property was as described and maybe even better. Very clean and neat. Everything was in order and operational except for the lift and we were notified ahead of time about that. Would like to stay again sometime. Gnats were bad this year as the wind was coming from the wrong direction but that had nothing to do with the property. Again, excellent place to stay.

My family and I had a great time at Lesley and Richard’s place. Lesley was always very responsive and worked quickly to resolve an issue we had. This would be a great set up for 2 small families wanting to vacation together. On one side of the house is the king room and twin room with a jack and Jill bathroom between them and on the other side is the queen room and bunk room with the other Jack and Jill bathroom between them. The direct access from the balcony straight down to the beach was amazing and we enjoyed this quiet section of Holden Beach. Towels were not included at the house but Lesley informed us ahead of time so we were easily able to bring them along with us. We will definitely keep this house in mind for future beach trips!

We had a wonderful time at Holden Beach, and enjoyed renting this property that provided a beautiful ocean-front setting for some important family time -- and a lot of fun. The property was clean, and well-organized. Exactly as advertised and what we wanted. The owner/host was responsive throughout, and always answered messages quickly.

Perfect Beach Getaway – Steps from the Sand!

We had the most wonderful stay at Lesley and Richard’s home in Holden Beach! The beach being just steps away made everything so easy, especially with little ones in tow. The single-level layout was perfect for our family, and the house itself was incredibly welcoming and comfortable, it truly felt like a home away from home. Lesley and Richard were very responsive and thoughtful hosts, which made our last minute spring break trip smooth and stress free. This was our first time visiting Holden Beach, and we’re already dreaming about coming back!

Amazing Spot on Holden Beach

Our family arrived on a Friday in late March and our kiddos sprinted to the water immediately. Gorgeous sunsets, beautiful beach and the house was perfect. We hung out on the porch, enjoyed the view, cooked great meals and slept so well enjoying the sounds of the surf. :)

Great location

Nice spot, not near a public access point. Beach here is relatively wide. Comfortable couches and beds, plenty of seating. Two high deck chairs (plus others), which is important if you're short and the railing blocks your view! Fully covered porch. My daughter loved the outdoor shower. Items provided: Sponge, dish and hand soap, trash bags, coffee filters, dishwasher pods. Host was very responsive. The few things I would change: Include towels or allow optional add'l charge (bringing towels could be problematic for people who fly). The metal elevator pillars block the view on the porch to the left - I would remove the lift. Add a few more kitchen tools: larger pots and cutting boards, etc. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice beachfront home for small groups

The house was very clean and comfortable. Good sized bedrooms and well appointed kitchen. Owners were responsive and helpful. Only minor drawback relative to other rentals we have had was with the linens...having to put on all the bed linens ourselves, and having to bring our own bath towels. We would definitely be willing to stay here again.

Great vacation

We loved our stay at this house and will definitely come again. The beds were comfortable, the house seems recently updated, and the location is great. Short walk to the beach compared to other places on the island. I would suggest bringing an extra towel or rug for in front of the showers in the bathroom and hand towels for bathroom/kitchen. The linens provided for beds are nice and soft though! Kitchen was fully stocked, but if you like doing a big seafood feast bring a big pot with you.

Lovely home & great location!

We loved our stay at this home! Beachfront location was awesome and in a not too crowded area during our stay. We made dinner in several nights and had all we needed for kitchen supplies! Enjoyed many of our favorite Holden Beach highlights like the Sunday evening concert, several ice cream & Italian ice treats, homemade cinnamon rolls, a trip to the Beachmart and endless hours building sand castles & shell hunting. One suggestion to future renters is to bring your own kitchen towels (one was provided), hand towels and maybe a bath mat, if desired, to go a long with your bath towels. I appreciated the starter bag of paper towels, dish soap & scrubber, trash bags, toilet paper! Lesley was great to work with through the messenger app and very accommodating during a small personal issue we faced during our stay. A great beachfront home on Holden Beach - we’ll be back!

Perfect location at Holden

Loved this property for location- oceanfront, short walk to beach, covered porch, fairly close to bridge with restaurants and shopping!Enjoyed two higher chairs on porch where you could see over the handrail. Well equipped kitchen (except missing a shrimp de-veiner). Very clean and fresh bedding, comfortable mattresses. Would stay again! Owners were easy to contact and replied quickly. Would have appreciated a more senior friendly TV setup- many cable and Streaming choices but not familiar to us! Overall a great house❤️

Wonderful beachfront property for family vacation

We had a fantastic time staying at this property for our family week at the beach. The interior is updated and clean, with cozy furniture and a well-stocked kitchen. Communication with the host was excellent before and during the trip. Two bedrooms on one side of the house, joined by a full bathroom. Two bedrooms on the other side, also joined by a 2nd full bathroom. Comfortable sized open living, dining, and kitchen spaces right in the middle, giving it a convenient, classic cottage feel. The deck isn't huge and is showing some signs of wear (as can be expected for beachfront decks), but still was one of our favorite places to spend time. Plus, it's covered to provide nice shade from the sun during the heat of the day while still giving great views of the ocean. It's only ~15 stairs down to the private walkway right to the beach. Really can't beat it. The beach itself was wonderful and quiet, not too crowded in the midst of high season (we got a place right in front of the house every day with the next group a minimum of 40 feet away in any direction). The house absolutely lived up to our expectations, and we would definitely stay there again!
