„This was a beautiful property on 13 acres with orchards and a lovely courtyard. The room was extremely spacious and meticulously decorated and cleaned. The bathroom was spacious and featured a fabulous shower (Room 3). Sue was a gracious host and prepared a delicious made to order breakfast in a beautiful dining area. Conveniently located to the town of Thirsk which has a James Harriet (All Creatures Great and Small) museum. Well-worth a visit with shopping and parking. 5-stars!“

„Valentino’s is an absolute gem! Fabulous staff who were friendly and super courteous. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished, very clean and with quality toiletries. We ate here too, it was no problem to set up a table outside for us, the food was fantastic! Breakfast too did not disappoint with amazing polite service and Italian food to die for! Will definitely find an excuse to go back to Ripon so that I can stay here again!! “

„Booked last minute. Wasn’t sure what to expect. It was great! Nice friendly welcome, good size family room, lots of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in the room. Located just a 5 minute stroll to centre of Thirsk. Excellent breakfast in the morning was the icing on the cake. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others. “

„Room, breakfast and service all very good. Site difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area. Using the postcode in the sat nav wasn't a good idea, better to use the signs for the forbidden corner which is on the same site.“
