Here is a fair and honest opinion from someone who has visited Tulum and La Veleta neighbourhood on multiple occassions. For starters, I thought I was booking Central Park Tulum, not "Lagunas" but thats on me and something to double check, as online they look the same. Upon arrival we discovered a dead bird on our balcony. It had been there for weeks, decomposing. The blinds were broken. There was no toaster, which is typically a basic kitchen item. There was an outdoor BBQ, but zero bbq utensils for us to grill with and the grill was 100% rusted. The apartment had no broom or dust pan, another basic item required in rentals. Our stay was two weeks and would be nice to have a broom to sweep up beach sand. They blast alot of loud music that can be heard day and night with no security to shut it down....usually drunk people or the bar attached to the property. Having said this, its Tulum and I am not ignorant to partying. Overall, enjoyed our two weeks without incident and thats that.
