« Not as expected. Booking said we had the entire house we did not. The building is just individual rooms. Kitchen that is available is on top floor and attached to a bedroom so not useful. There was not community area or meeting area for guest. When the bar Nextdoor closes it is definitely heard. Paint was peeling off wall in stairwell and was never swept up. The parking that is available is whatever street parking you can find close by (not designated) The location in the district...

« Wir haben lange nach der Unterkunft gesucht, da die angegebene Hausnummer nicht existierte. Der Besitzer antwortete erst später und gab uns eine andere Hausnummer, was sehr mühsam war. Das Zimmer roch nach Schimmel, die Bettlaken und Polster waren schmutzig und es gab keine Handtücher – wir mussten selbst welche kaufen! Als wir den Besitzer darauf ansprachen, erhielten wir keine Antwort mehr. »

« The apartment itself is OK! It’s whoever’s operating the place that is a complete disaster! The AC was not working when we arrived! And we contacted the person to fix numerous times they responded to us once with something that was unhelpful, and they never responded again not even when we purely asked that they prorate our fee so that we could stay somewhere else! DO NOT stay here! »

« The property is nicely renovated but we were not aware of the .5 meter wide spiral steel staircase. I have severe arthritis in my knees and ankles and this staircase kept me grounded on the ground floor. There was a discrepancy between what VRBO charged me and what the owners thought they should receive. VRBO had to work on a settlement. The experience left a bitter taste. There is one feeder street that is one way, and the property is on a one way street. Catania Public Works had access closed...
