With room to stretch out and a private terrace overlooking the Sea of Cortez, Serenity invites you to settle into the slower rhythm of Baja’s East Cape. Enjoy morning coffee in the sea breeze, wander down to the beach or spend an unhurried afternoon beside the infinity pool.

YOUR PRIVATE SPACE

Serenity is a bright, open-plan retreat of approximately 580 sq ft, with a king-size bed, comfortable sofa and spacious en-suite bathroom with a generous dressing and clothes-storage area.

The fully equipped kitchenette and dining bar provide space for preparing meals, enjoying a drink or catching up on emails. Air conditioning, Starlink Wi-Fi and a TV provide everyday comforts.

Step outside onto your private sea-view terrace for a quiet breakfast or a relaxed evening under the open sky. Roll-out futons can accommodate one or two children under 12; please arrange this with us before booking.

POOL, JACUZZI & SHARED SPACES

Serenity is one of just four independent suites at Casa del Mar. Your suite and terrace are private; the infinity pool, heated jacuzzi, yoga deck, fire pit and communal outdoor dining areas are shared with guests staying in the other suites.

The jacuzzi, outdoor grill area and fire pit are nearby. Upstairs, the infinity pool and lounge deck offer sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez—a peaceful place to read, rest or watch the light change over the water.

THE EAST CAPE

Casa del Mar sits within gated Cabo Vinorama, between San José del Cabo and Cabo Pulmo, where desert meets sea and the setting feels far removed from busy resort life.

The beach is about a five-minute walk down the hill. Enjoy barefoot shoreline walks, swimming or snorkeling when conditions allow, or explore nearby surf breaks La Poza and Punta Perfecta. Water sports require suitable conditions, experience and your own equipment.

Further afield, discover Cabo Pulmo, the coastal dining spots around La Fortuna or the streets and restaurants of San José del Cabo.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

A car is needed. Allow approximately 50–60 minutes from San José del Cabo, depending on your route and road conditions. The final approach includes an unpaved coastal road. We meet you at the Cabo Vinorama gate and guide you to the house.

Plan your grocery shopping before leaving San José. Reverse-osmosis purified drinking water is provided at the house.

Casa del Mar runs entirely off-grid, with solar power and generator support. Thoughtful use of water and electricity helps us care for this remote setting.
