„We were looking for a place to stay in north Carolina for our vacations, but we also needed to do a little of remote work. We found The perch and it was a perfect fit for us. The neighborhood is calm and we had a beautiful view from the deck. There is also a lot of different activities that we did around (nature, brpw, town of Waynesville and Ashville, etc.). „My sister and I stayed here with our families for a winter ski vacation. We came in January, and got caught in snow all week! It was gorgeous! The driveway is a little steep, so definitely prepare in freezing/winter conditions! It was so peaceful, convenient to Waynesville and Cattaloochee Ski Slope! Hot tub was a plus! „The house was great smaller than I thought but plenty of room. The driveway would be a little tough in a car I would think but we had jeeps so we were good. We will definitely rent from them again.“

„The house was great. The scenery was perfect. The drive up to the cabin was a little scary. Plan on arriving before dark. There were eight of us 40 years and older. The climb to the cabin was steep for us. One of the ladies fell carrying her stuff to the cabin. Perfect place but the seniors had a little bit of a hard time getting to the cabin. Once in the cabin a couple of ladies stayed in the cabin and didn’t leave because of the pathway. Everyone had a great time.“
