We recently stayed at the Element Hotel in Wilmington, NC and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful with a modern design and stylish furnishings that create a clean, comfortable atmosphere. Our room was well-appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and the in-room kitchen was a great feature. Having filtered water available was also a nice bonus.
The front desk staff was consistently friendly and welcoming, which made check-in and daily interactions enjoyable.
There were a few areas that could be improved. Housekeeping service was limited—we had to request it, and it was only provided once during our six-night stay. Breakfast service was also inconsistent. On Monday morning, the staff member was very kind and accommodating, even offering to make pancakes daily for my son, which we appreciated. However, from Tuesday through Saturday, the breakfast attendant was noticeably unfriendly, which made the experience less enjoyable. Additionally, the hot food quality varied, with French toast served cold and eggs often overcooked.
Overall, the hotel itself is excellent in terms of design, comfort, and front desk service, but consistency in housekeeping and breakfast service would greatly improve the guest experience.
