« My family had a fantastic time in Merida and at Casa Sur. It was the perfect home and size for us (2 adults, 3 kids ages 12, 10 and 8). There is a lot to do in and around Merida and having a home base like Casa Sur is great. We could explore in the mornings and early afternoon then relax and swim before venturing back out in the evening. The on-site property manager is incredibly responsive and helpful. « The house was a perfect beach house and the backyard and pool were amazing. Mike who helps take care of the house was really helpful during our stay and we found the house to be very comfortable. The area is very safe and peaceful. The beach that is a short walking distance is swimmable but a bit eroded (like most of the coastline). « It was a nightmare to locate the place. I had read reviews about this problem but the pics of place were great and i thought how difficult can it be with Google maps to locate the place? But, it was impossible to locate it. First the address given led us to a place 20 mins away. Even the locals were stumped! The worst was it was impossible to contact the host or anyone at vrbo. We sat on the street not knowing what to do. An emergency number must be provided. With a lot of help from people...

« Valladolid is a cultural gem. Lots of history, nice dining and places for dinks. It’s not a big town so walking is easy or UBER/Taxi. We had a car and preferred to walk instead. Our house was on a busy street making it a little noisy in the main room of the house though not in the bedrooms. The house was comfortable and cute. We had 3 adults and three bedrooms, 2 baths. Great fans and A/C. »

« L’hôte ne s’est jamais déplacée, elle n’a jamais répondu aux appels ou messages. Nous avons dormi dans une pièce extérieur à la maison sans Wc (obligé d’aller dehors en pleine nuit) aux fenêtres et volets délabrées , l’eau passait sous la porte rien à voir avec les photos idylliques affichées sur abritel. Fenêtres cassés sur la baie vitrée, tout le monde peut entrer, zéro sécurité pour nos affaires. Poubelles gravats ect autour de la maison. Photos et vidéos à l’appui, nous avons signalé...

« Second time renting this charming apartment suite with private entrance, full size kitchen, living room and absolutely adorable backyard complete with pool. Love the neighborhood, easy walk to center, shops, food, etc. The view of the church is stunning and the neighborhood is has opened a few new shops in just the last few years. You can’t beat the price for all that you get with this apartment! »

« The hosts were very good communicators throughout. They came by to check if we wanted any recommendations and made a very quick fix when asked. The house was just what we were looking for. Near downtown on a very nice street. We had a rainy day and it was very nice that there were books and puzzles to make ourselves at home and even kid size umbrellas to make venturing out more fun for the kids. »
