« I left a note for the housekeeper with a few things that were needed. I'm not complaining, just wanted you to know. The smoke detector started beeping last night so we took it down so we could sleep. Batteries needed changed. The trashcan needed batteries as well. Lid wouldn't open. The chain to the main floor bedroom light broke. There were no dish towels. We couldn't get the grill to light. The youngest in our party is 74 making it difficult to take the trash all the way up to the end...

« We really enjoyed our stay for our anniversary. It is a very cozy place to stay and pretty much all we needed as far as dishes, etc was there. Would highly recommend. I would just warn anyone who would want to stay that cell service is pretty scarce throughout the whole region, but that doesn't reflect on the cabin or the owner at all. Just something to be aware of. Great place to stay! »

« Host was very helpful cabin was very clean. The only downfall was the pans cooking skillet/sauce pans the Teflon was scraped off and scratched up. We didn't feel comfortable using them so we chose to go buy a couple pans to use and brought them home. It would have been nice to know prior to booking thatvthe fireplace was out of order. (Maybe a complimentary bundle of firewood would be nice for the inconvenience or a discounted rate). Over all we really enjoyed the setting and privacy. »
