« Staff courteous, room linens clean, bathroom relatively clean but trim damaged and mildewed, leftover used washrag hanging in shower maid apparently missed, shower head was 4.5 feet off floor......hit me in waist....hallway walls filthy, elevators damaged and dirty carpeting everywhere, tweaker at front entrance asking for money, homeless people in parking lot, they wanted a $100 deposit on top of my paid room fee that they claim I'll get back....the place should be bulldozed. »

« The hotel was nice but our room was clearly not finished with cleaning, we didn't have trash bags in our trash cans and the floors had not been swept. Luckily we had extra bags and just took care of it ourselves so we didn't have to bother hunting someone down »

« Overall the stay was fine for what I paid. My issue is that I was overchargered. I paid for my room through a third party site, then put down a card for the $50 incidental charge which I was told I would get back at check out. After checkout, I doubled checked my account and found that they charged me an additional $92. I went to the front desk, wasn't offered an explanation but was given a refund and a reciept. Checked my account again a few days later and that refund was no longer there. I...

« The property is convenient to several eating choices. Either fast food or sit down. I would stay here again. »

« When traveling with a pet, pet room smelt like urine and found stains on furniture from I cleaned urine marks. Was almost not able to sleep due to the smell »

« The property was very conveniently located. The cost for two bedrooms and a full kitchen could not be matched. Only downside was a decent amount of street noise, and it was lacking blackout curtains, but having stayed in many Topeka hotels, I’d chose this over them every time. »

« The room was large with efficient a c. Large bathroom and good quality toiletries. All staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Close to WALMART (10 minutes walk) and a lot of places to dine as menu in hotel limited (15mins walk) Good steakhouses also nearby. »

« Shower didn't drain, television on turned on and off and the volume went up. No other buttons worked. Trash from the previous stay was left on the mini fridge. Staff was kind but won't be staying again »

« The Holiday Inn Express in Topeka was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful the breakfast buffet was hot and lots of choices the room was clean and everything was in working order I would stay there again »

« I arrived tired and was directed to a side door for entrance. The room key did not open the exterior door, so I had to drag my luggage back to the main desk. The clerk did not issue a new key, assuring me that my room would open. It did not. I went back to get a new key and slid into my bed too tired to look for dinner. The clerk should have issued a new key immediately. »

« Absolutely loved this hotel. The room was huge and had a full fridge, a place to cook, dishwasher, table, sectional. The tv worked so easy and wasn’t laggy. Bed was comfy. They had snacks downstairs to buy if needed. The pool and hot tub were older but worked just fine and were so relaxing. Absolutely would stay here again . »

« Great breakfast. Tables cleaned when vacated. Staff was welcoming. Lots of parking Only knock is the shower had a bit of pink mold around the shampoo dispensers like it hadn’t been sanitized in a while. Enjoyed our stay. »

« The rooms were clean, which I appreciate. However, our toilet wouldn't flush easily. Also, I did find a bug on my bed the day of checkout, but lucky luckily it was just a silverfish... but a silverfish on the 4th floor. I would probably stay here again, though. »
