The bathroom had not been cleaned since the previous guest. There was hair and dirt in the shower, and on the floor. The toilet did not appear to be clean. When we told the front desk the problem, she reached out to the manager, who offered us a $30 credit. I then asked the front desk personnel if $30 would correct a filthy room in her opinion? She kindly replied, “no”, but the manager won’t do any thing else for you. Bottom line: I stayed in a dirty room, as there were no other rooms available. I was not credited my full stay. It was late, and I did not want to move hotels when the options around me were not any better. I am a mom traveling across the country with my college student daughter alone. I was not wanting to leave a hotel at 9 pm in a city I did not know, after driving 9 hours. This experience has been very distasteful. Also, the noisy was terrible. Kids running and screaming until well after 11 pm. Does this hotel not enforce quiet hours? I will be eating this hotel very poorly.
