When we arrived at Oakley House it felt like we were coming home. Inside and out, the property looks exactly like the photos. So much so it felt like I had been there before. The house is immaculate, with everything you can imagine provided. We chose Oakley House because it was pet friendly, and the owners provided little touches that made us feel our pets really were welcome, eg., poop bags and leash hooks. The yard is a nice size for walking/playing with dogs. The neighbors were friendly and the area felt safe. The location is great, with Biltmore and downtown Asheville just 15-20 minutes away. There is even a wonderful 24-hour emergency vet 20 minutes away. We never expected to need their services but we did, and when traveling with pets this is a real bonus. Oakley House was so cozy we didn’t want to leave, which means we’ll be back. Many thanks to the owners for sharing this beautiful property.

Cute Cabin Within Minutes of Everything

We absolutely loved this quaint little house! It was such a gem!! The hosts provided pretty much everything you could ask for from snacks and coffee to a gas grill. It was spotless as well. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house in a less beautiful area

PROS: A great cozy house with a nice back yard. Very clean and everything presents new. We loved the inside. Many nice little touches. Good size back yard with fire ring and firewood. A pleasant front porch. CONS: The neighborhood has a few newer houses but many run down houses with chain link fences, etc. (But we felt safe the whole time.) No garbage disposal. Needs four chairs for the dining table (only has two) so we used two bar stools.

Amazing Place

This place was absolutely perfect for our kids first mountain trip! It gave us all the cabin feels! It was super clean and had one of the best stocked kitchens of places we have ever stayed at. The owners were super flexible and gave us the ability to check in a little early. We also received a discount to go to the Biltmore which was extremely nice! They also had a few necessities like water, coffee, filters, snacks, etc that made the initial arrival nice! We would definitely stay here again!

Oakley House Feels like home

My husband and I were so impressed with the Oakley house. You can tell it was a labor of love for the owners. Not one detail was missed. It is a gorgeous home that makes you feel like home. The master bed was comfy and bathrooms were great. The decor is cute, witty and has a good vibe. The property is great and a ton of room for our dogs to walk. We were there to be close to a family member in Mission Hospital, located just minutes away along with Historic Biltmore Village and numerous breweries. I highly recommend.

This property was very clean and had a very comfortable feel. The house was well decorated and felt cozy. It was very quiet in the neighborhood. The welcome basket that was left for us was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and a good size. Very convenient to a main road and to restaurants. Also very dog friendly! Great House & Great Location

We stayed at The Oakley House for Thanksgiving with our boys and it was great. The house is in a very convenient location close to everything, yet feels private and somewhat secluded. The house was very clean and very well stocked. I had no problem cooking our Thanksgiving dinner there. If there was anything that I could give feedback on to the owner is the dining situation. It was my husband and I and our 2 boys and when it was time to sit down and eat our Thanksgiving dinner, there are only 2 dining room chairs. We had to bring 2 chairs in off the front porch so we could all sit together for dinner, so if you have more than 2 in your party, that is the only downside if you even want to call it that. The house was great and if that is the worst thing I can say about it, that says a lot. We would stay here again for sure. If you plan on going to the Biltmore, it is very close, less than a 10 minute drive.

Cosy Haven!!!

This home is amazing! Attention to detail, so clean and comfortable. Everything was explained in the check in binder with great suggestions on local activities and restaurants. Close to Biltmore and we had an amazing day there. We loved being able to have our dogs with us during our stay as well.

Cozy cabin close to everything

Newly remodeled and cozy. Perfect arrangement for two couples to share with two bedrooms and two baths. Short drive to Asheville, the Biltmore, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were there too soon for fall colors but it must be spectacular!

The owner, Kevin, is an amazing host. He was kind and accommodating; he stocked additional firewood while we were there. We brought our dog along and had no issues. The place is in a convenient location and quiet at night. We went to Ingles, a grocery store similar to Kroger, which was 4 minutes away.

An Excellent Stay in Asheville

This house rocks! We really enjoyed the theming and the convenience to everything while also balancing the price. It was a bit harder with little kids as you can kind of hear everything throughout the place but that felt like an our family thing. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
