« Chalet dated but very clean and well equipt. Fabulous location and we sat outside on the decking frequently. Very close to a main trainline into London but we knew this as visiting friends having previously lived in Broxbourne. Didn't bother us. Sofa not comfortable to sit & enjoy TV. Very hard. Only other negative was the twin beds. Despite the mattress toppers, the springs in the mattresses have gone. They do need replacing. Sadly we had an uncomfortable few nights sleep! »

« We received a very warm welcome and everything was just perfect. The room was spacious and a super king bed was very comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities in our room and even a small fridge if needed. A fan was in the room in case it was very hot. We had a good meal in a local pub recommended by David and it didn’t disappoint. The breakfast was delicious, just about anything you could wish for in a very nice dining room, we will certainly return next time we are in the area »

« A notre grande surprise, la chambre ne possède ni salle de bain ni wc privatifs ce qui n'est précisé nulle part dans l'offre de réservation. il y a une salle de bain "familiale" (avec produits de douche entamés) sur le palier. l'entrée de l'hôtel se fait par un pub et si celui-ci est fermé, l'accès et la sortie de l'hôtel se fait par la porte de secours!!! la chambre est plutôt vieillotte avec une moquette abîmée.
