Welcome to The House of Kai, a charming 1950s beach cottage that blends surf shack character with a modern edge. Located on the quiet north end of Carolina Beach, our home offers a laid-back and private retreat.

The main bedroom features its own private deck, complete with an oversized tub and shower.

Direct access from the bedroom to the large, wrap-around front porch.

Complimentary Wi-Fi to keep you connected.

We are a pet-friendly home, so your furry companions are welcome to join your beach getaway.



Guest Access:

Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire cottage interior and the large, wrap-around front porch. Please be aware that the driveway and backyard are shared spaces with our two other rental units located at the back of the property.

The neighborhood is close to everything. Mix of vacationers and year round residents.

What We Provide:

A starter kit including one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap.

Freshly laundered bed linens, comforters, and one bathing towel and washcloth per guest.



What We Recommend Bringing:

Beach gear and beach towels. We can recommend great local rental companies for these items.

Laundry detergent.

Personal toiletries such as body soap, shampoo, and conditioner, as we find guests prefer their own brands.



Security:

For your security, a Ring security camera is located at the entrance of this property. It records video and audio.



Interaction with Guests:

We believe in giving our guests complete privacy to enjoy their vacation. We will not be present during your stay but are always available via the booking platform or by phone should you need anything at all. We're happy to provide local recommendations to make your trip memorable.
