« We stayed in the General George Meade room which was located in the Main House- a key location next to the pantry (espresso & Keurig coffee, teas, treats...) and a half bath near pantry (key if you need an extra bathroom!) and lobby and kitchen. The room was spacious, very clean, soft towels, and COMFORTABLE BED, good size shower, great shower head pressure, 2 pillow types to choose from, LOVELY decor and "peace and quiet" only 2 miles from downtown. « This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible.
